Angelo Building Specialties first opened its doors in the 1970s. San Angelo was going through a building boom at the time, and we took full advantage, providing hollow metal doors , replacement partition units for restrooms in industrial settings, garage door replacements , and more to builders across the area. During this time, we were able to build our garage door company with a strong customer base and prove our installation and service expertise. These advantages are what enabled us to survive the oil crunch and depressed building market of the 1980s. While many businesses in the area suffered or closed their doors, we held on.
