Davidson Oil provides fuel supply and fuel logistics services to a host of industries including retailers, trucking companies, construction and energy production. We have devised valuable solutions to help companies lower their operating costs and risk. Davidson Oil Company was started in 1974 by Joe Davidson, the father of our present owners, Jodi Davidson-Teal and Chan Davidson. Joe quickly developed Davidson Oil as a leading-branded fuel and lubricants distributor and a convenience store retailer with a number of locations throughout Amarillo. In the late 1990s Jodi and Chan joined the company to help execute a strategy to focus strictly on fuel supply, a business that had helped Davidson Oil distinguish itself. One of the key elements of this strategy was the to develop a fleet of company-owned transports to haul fuel. In 2012 our owners chartered a team of employee volunteers to identify the timeless values that would serve as the foundation of our collective corporate culture. The team agreed that a core ideology must be discovered (not mandated) to be authentic. Each employee was given the opportunity to share their own individual core values, some developed in times of happiness, some in times of great adversity. A great deal of time was spent analyzing the responses and in the end several themes stood out as most core to our people.
