Founded in 1999, Electronic MicroSystems, LLC (EMS) was established to provide engineering consulting services for engine control design and development to engine manufacturers, research and development organizations, and government groups. This led EMS into a new area of engine and emission test services. In 2004, EMS relocated to larger facility in order to expand its in-house capabilities to include engine testing on a contract basis. These test facilities include 10 fully instrumented engine test cells equipped with dynamometers. EMS expanded to include a second building in 2007, which contained a metal fabrication shop, electronics lab, and state-of-the-art conference room. A test cell was converted to a high horsepower engine cell in 2018. This test cell can accommodate engines up to 2 MW with the addition of a 3000 horsepower dynamometer and increased cooling capacity. With over 20 years of emissions testing experience and a team of knowledgeable engineers and technicians, EMS is fully equipped to take care of your testing needs.
