The Golden Beach Energy Storage Project is backed by a highly experienced executive management team and an international Board of Directors. Matthew has over 30 years' experience in the investment banking and principal investment industries. He commenced his career in mergers and acquisitions in Australia and the UK, with JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. Following this Matthew joined global private equity firm, The Carlyle Group, based in Sydney where he was a Managing Director. Over the last ten years, Matthew has led several principal investment transactions and also acted as adviser to pan-Asian credit fund, OCP Asia, on their Australian corporate portfolio. He is presently Executive Chairman of Bothar Australia and Canada, Chairman of Asseti Holdings, and Non Executive Director of National Group, ARI and Medirent. Sheree has practiced as a solicitor for over 30 years, initially in private practice and then as in house counsel and company secretary, largely in the energy and resources sector.
