Green Wind Renewables was founded in 2019 to combine our passion for developing renewable energy projects with an increasing need in the Western Australian (WA) electricity market for clean and sustainable energy. With decades of experience in successfully developing wind farm projects across Australia, our team of renewable energy experts share a common vision to be a leader in the delivery of high-quality renewable energy projects in WA which deliver benefits for our landowners, the community and enable WA businesses to decarbonise. In 2023, Green Wind Renewables and Macquarie Asset Management signed a partnership agreement to deliver a portfolio of large-scale wind farm projects in WA, totalling up to 2.4GW. In late 2023, Macquarie Asset Management launched a portfolio company called Aula Energy to develop, construct and operate onshore renewable energy projects across Australia and New Zealand, including the WA projects being developed jointly with Green Wind Renewables.
