LOVATO Electric Corporation was founded in Canada in 2007 and is a subsidiary company of LOVATO Electric S.p.A. which was originally founded in 1922. We support the CANADIAN market through authorized distributor partners. We stock over 18,000 products for Motor Control & Protection, Control & Signalling, Circuit Protection & Isolation, Automation & Control and Energy Management. Working from our sales and distribution centre in Laval, Quebec, our philosophy is simple – to provide CANADA with the best local stock and service for our Energy and Automation products supported by the research, design and engineering excellence of our manufacturing facility in Bergamo, Italy. Our 15 branches abroad and a network of over 90 importers guarantee the availability of Lovato Electric products in more than 100 countries all over the world. Started production of one-piece contactors that were to gradually replace the bus-bar or terminal board versions. Opened LOVATO Electric in Spain. Purchased the limit switches division business from Reiter S.r.l. company.
