Larson Company was founded in 1946, when Oscar Larson, a former employee of Shell, started a fuel pump installation and repair shop in his Detroit, MI garage. Oscar W. Larson Company bought a small Wayne distributor in Grand Rapids, MI, which became the first branch of the company. In March of 1986, Oscar W. Larson Company's original building on Highland Rd. went up in flames. The Oscar W. Larson company built their new building on Highland Rd, which still stands today. We have since moved HQ to a bigger facility in Clarkston, MI.
