In 1951, Bulloch Telephone Cooperative formed to help connect the community of Bulloch County. Bulloch Telephone Cooperative formed to help connect the community of Bulloch County. The new building of the Bulloch County Rural Telephone Cooperative was completed. This building housed the office and warehouse. The Bulloch Rural Telephone Cooperative Board began putting a 1.8 million dollar phone service expansion into action. Shortly after Mr Fred Hodges was named the General Manager of Bulloch Telephone Company, he was named the Georgia Telephone Association President.
