On the sidelines of the historic COP21 in Paris where world leaders signed the momentous climate agreement, another historic moment for global climate action also took place – the creation of the Global Solar Council (GSC). The GSC was founded to act as the voice of the solar PV industry across the world. The GSC represents the solar industry at key international forums such as COP, Clean Energy Ministerial, G20, Climate Weeks, as well as global and national industry events. The GSC is uniquely positioned to work with a wide range of stakeholders globally to unite the global solar sector and accelerate the deployment of solar solutions for a more sustainable world. We work directly with industry associations, private sector, governments, international institutions and NGOs to advocate, educate, and strengthen the solar industry.
