Over Easy Solar AS is a Norwegian company who develops, manufactures and supplies pre-assembled PV-Units for easy solar installations on green and flat roofs. Fast forward to today, Over Easy Solar has completed over 50 installations across 14 countries, earning recognition for pushing the boundaries of rooftop solar. With a world record for vertical installations at the national football stadium in Oslo and steadily growing partnerships, we remain dedicated to helping more rooftops reach their full potential with our sustainable, innovative solutions. From concept to reality, the journey involved extensive testing and certification, including crucial wind tunnel tests that verified the systems's ballast-free performance under most conditions. Early pilots were completed within months, with the first large-scale installation - a 45 kWp system on a green roof in Oslo - finalized in mid-2022. By the year's end, Over Easy Solar had delivered on projects ranging from 102 kWp systems to smaller installations across Europe, proving the system's versatility. In early 2021, Over Easy Solar was founded to address the challenges of conventional solar installations. CEO Trygve Mongstad, with co-founders Tommy Engvik and Aria Yadmelat, developed the VPV Unit - a lightweight, prefabricated vertical solar system that installs 10 times faster than traditional methods. This innovation made solar accessible to more rooftops, especially those previously unsuitable due to weight or complexity.
