SolarXList member Trina Solar has signed a supply agreement through its TrinaTracker business with Irish developer Renvolt, covering 305 MW of PV mounting and tracker solutions for utility-scale ground-mounted projects in Ireland, per EnergyTrend.
Why Ireland matters
Ireland is one of Europe's fastest-emerging utility-scale solar markets, backed by government auctions (RESS) and corporate PPAs. Landing a 300 MW-plus structural package there puts TrinaTracker in the middle of a pipeline that barely existed five years ago — and shows how China's module majors increasingly win European business through system components, not just panels.
Beyond modules
Trina was also shortlisted in Datang Group's 2026–2027 module framework procurement in July, and the company has described energy storage as the industry's "second growth curve" after photovoltaics — a strategy echoed across the top tier of manufacturers.
